About CompassPC Bill Pay and E-Bills
What do payees actually receive?
Electronic payees receive payment information in an electronic format.
Non-electronic merchants or individuals receive a laser-printed paper check sent through the U.S. Postal Service. The check contains the following information:
- Your name and address
- The company or person's name and your account number, if available
- The payment amount
- The payment date
If you add a memo to your payment, this information is printed on the memo line of the check.
