Texas State Bank and Compass Bank
What's ahead?
A timeline for the transition.
Right now:
- Bank as usual, at the same Texas State Bank branches and ATMs you use today as well as by phone and at www.texasstatebank.com.
- Use Compass ATMs to withdraw cash without any ATM fee, starting immediately.
In late June:
- You were sent a letter asking you to preselect a PIN for your Check Card/ATM Card that Compass will send before conversion. Please continue to use your Texas State Bank Check Card/ATM Card until August 22, 2008.
- Treasury Management Clients received mailings with agreements to enable Compass to set up your services.
In late July:
- You'll receive an information package with a personalized letter including the new names of your accounts, a guide to these new accounts and a disclosure booklet.
- If you have separate services such as mortgage loans and online banking, you will receive separate or additional communications.
On August 22, 2008:
- Your Texas State Bank accounts will convert to similar accounts at Compass.
- The name on your Texas State Bank branches, ATMs and Web site will change. And you'll continue to work with the same friendly faces you do today.
- Continue to bank at former Texas State Bank branches and enjoy full access to Compass branches throughout Texas and our entire six state banking network.
- If you have a Texas State Bank ATM or Check Card today, you'll be mailed a new Compass card as a replacement. You can begin using this new card on August 22, 2008.
