Community Involvement
We take our civic responsibilities seriously at Compass. We actively support our local communities through direct monetary contributions and by encouraging our employees to be involved in programs that help those in need.
Here are some of the ways we're making a difference:
Compass Foundation
Each year, Compass allocates an amount for charitable activities to distribute within our communities. This amount has averaged more than $5 million annually over the past few years.
Compass Charity
Employees contribute to Compass Charity each pay period through payroll deduction and are encouraged to give at the guideline level of one-half of one percent of their base pay. The money is administered by local employee committees, and employees may designate which agencies receive their donations. Pooling our resources allows each of us to give a substantial gift to a larger number of organizations and have a greater impact on our communities than if we were to give alone.
TEAMCompass
This is an organization of employee volunteers, sponsored by Compass, who pool their time, ideas, and talents to produce real change in their communities. The groups coordinate service projects as well as activities that promote positive morale at Compass. TEAMCompass is an important part of our tradition of generosity, service, and community leadership.
